Pony Hills Petroglyph Site
Here are some photos from the Pony Hills petroglyph site near Deming. We visited with some friends on New Year's Day. This was the third time I've been out here, but I still found a few I hadn't seen before. The first time I had heard about this site was from some fellow travelers on hike to the nearby Frying Pan Canyon site. When I went out to find it myself I couldn't believe the ease of access to such a wonderful site. There is yet more rock art in China Draw, just a stones throw away from here.
Took Bill and Family again. Found more pictures. Then we went and swam the Rio Grand and Rivers Bend Very cold water.

Were you able to find specific road directions? saw a reference to a bike trail on a search after seeing a post on FB petroglyphs group.

I had seen some instructions about coming at it from the west, off A015, but yours seems very clear I only saw one small body of water that I think is near the boulders. I really appreciate it! Randy
